-Former Rebel Brandon Sutter scored his first of the season for the Carolina Hurricanes this afternoon in a 6-1 loss to Philly. Even though they lost by five, Brandon had 6 shots on goal and was a +1 in 12:55 of ice time.

How long do you think Nugent-Hopkins keeps both last names? He sounds like a feminist cougar with that hyphen job. I know the story why his parents did this but surely he will drop one, no? If you could awkwardly ask him after practice one day and then do a post on the answer, we all appreciate it! Thanks!

From what I saw on a special on minor hockey and what it takes to make it to the next level that his parents and him were featured on, it sounds like his parents aren’t officially married (or she kept her name after they married I cant remember which one) so they wanted their son to have both names. But to me its like having two first names, eventually you just go with one. But if he picks one I hope its Nugent, so his nick name will be Ted.

Brandon Sutter has been very good in Carolina. Sure Hurricanes has been bad this year, but it´s nice to see that Brandon has played good matches since he was called up.

I just finished watching our beloved rebels on the web playing van and i could not help but wonder if wally isn't getting desperate on his power play.Every time we went on the pp Morin +Coots were out for the whole two min and by the third period they were so tired they almost gave up ANOTHER SHOT HANDED GOAL.Our pp is so predictable four blind opponents could defend against it.This team has a lot of talent.USE IT WALLY PLEASE we watch last year with kivisto + wray untill it was beaten to death and you put in petro at the end of the year and it looked like there was some hope coming this year.But i guess we're going back to the old mentality or is it insanity after all when you keep doing the same thing over n over n over n over again and you keep coming up with the same results and you know what happens. YOU DON'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. AGAIN.
