Calgary's Tyler Fiddler scored a natural hat trick in a nine minute span of the second period, as the CGY Hitmen spoiled the Red Deer Rebels home opener Friday night with a 6-2 victory.

Darcy Kuemper had a good start to this one, but was pulled after allowing four goals on 15 shots. Kraymer Barnstable did a nice job in relief, allowing 2 goals on 17 shots.
